Dyslexia at Kapiti

Dyslexic students at Kapiti College are really trying to make a difference to the lives of other dyslexics. This year they got together and organised a presentation which included their own personal stories as well as a short video clip. This video includes four specific goals that they want achieved in order to help make life for dyslexics so much better in the future. This clip can be viewed on YouTube:

They also met with politicians to talk about what we do and what we want to achieve. Both politicians were extremely interested and we will be having more meetings with them in the future.

The students are also going to become ‘famous’ when they appear on TV One’s ‘Close Up’. TV crews are filming and interviewing us to show how we work at Kapiti College and what we want to see happen nationwide for all dyslexic students.

Watch this space……we are an unstoppable force!
